Insufficient Privelages?
Okay, so I clicked on my fiance's username on one of the threads, clicked View Public Profile, then clicked on view all posts. Well, every time I try to do that with anyone (even if they're on my buddy list, which my fiance is), it says this:
Tender Wolf, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: -Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? -If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. None of these apply to me. I'm not trying to edit anyone else's post, and my account is not disabled and it's activated (obviously or I wouldn't be using it right now). It even does it on MY OWN PROFILE! I'd like to be able to see all the posts I made, since I only bookmark my store and my buying list. And if I click See other posts by Tender Wolf, it only shows a few of them on some weird site. What's going on?! Last edited by Tender Wolf; Sep 06, 2007 at 09:14 PM // 21:14.. |

Ya, I just got the same response when I tried it on your profile.
I would speculate that that "view all posts" is for moderators' use. Some forums let you use the search feature to find posts by a particular user, but not this one (from just now trying it) - maybe that feature costs too much. Last edited by free_fall; Sep 06, 2007 at 09:27 PM // 21:27.. |

Why would view all posts be reserved for elites when view all threads isn't? It's been like that since I joined.
I would say that it's to cut out more server load or that Board Tracker just sucks, but since I can view threads no problem I don't know. However, I have heard that BT sucks. I think the forum is just screwy. |

Elite Gurus get the same message. To the best of my knowledge, this feature has not worked as long as I have been a member.

Find all messages requires the use of search, normal users do not have the search feature activated.
You need to subscribe to any thread you wish to go back to (only really applies to threads in Ventari's)

Old school search used to work for mods and stuff but it was changed to new one. I miss old school search.
